DermAppraise is an image display application used to demonstrate the results of cosmetic procedures over time. DermAppraise
incorporates patented image scaling and registration algorithms to optimize
display results without actually altering images.
Images from up to 15 different points in time during treatment can be scaled and spatially registered in chronological order. The viewer can then fade forward through the images (and time) to appreciate the cosmetic benefits of treatment.
Physicians may use this software to maintain a photographic record of procedures and as a tool to demonstrate the benefit of various treatments.
